The Four Fundamental Forces
There are four fundamental forces in the universe that determine how particles interact.

There's the Strong Nuclear Force, which has the color charge that we looked at before. It interacts with quarks and is what keeps the nucleus of atoms together.

We've discussed the Electromagnetic Force, the force that we observe in electricity, magnetism, and light. This study of this force is what led us to our initial understandings of quantum physics.

Next is the Weak Nuclear Force, the force that causes the radioactive decay of particles. This force is the strangest out of the four forces.

Finally, we have the Gravitational Force. The gravitational force is the weakest of the four forces and is not part of the standard model.

Don't worry if you don't understand yet. We will go over each force in detail soon.
